Beaches and Sunshine

*(Picture Heavy Post)

I know its been a while since i returned from my recent vacation but iv been really so busy :/ hence the delay! Anyway, back to beaches! ;)

So we went by car, on a road trip to the konkan coastline towns (more like rustic villages-what beauty!) of Harihareshwar-Diveaghar-Shrivardhan. The roads leading to the beach were umm..pretty narrow for a car but we found a superb 'resort' sorts right on the beach at Harihareshwar where we put up. Best part- our family suite which we opted for, had two rooms, attached and both of them over-looked the beach (that was all i could see from our windows-wow!)

Now, enough said, lets get to the part about what i wore!
Being a beach, i thought a dress would be just right, and it was! (except the place was soo
windy that i had to be careful not to let it fly up haha!) So, the dress had a fancy, lace cut-out back which was what made me buy it! Pretty! I wore it with a plain slim gold belt.

Now a little know-how about
me: I Love Accessories! -
I think they complete the look. That said, i wore this chic ivory coloured tusk, black feathers and leather trimmings chain, a cute crocodile ring
was so apt for a watery-beachy place lol) and a turquoise blue stone set in gold statement ring!
Oh and a must: Sunglasses! (mine were retro-ish o
wing to my obssession with nearly anything vintage).

Lastly the very important, Flip-Flops (you can't afford to mess up your pretty pairs of feet charmers, can you?). Apart from the beach attractions, the food is great! (if you're a foodie like me!) too bad i cudn't take any pictures as i was too busy attacking my plate!

There are also temples around with pure gold idols, long pretty narrow roads lined with jackfruit trees, (konkan is a region that grows the jackfruits that you find in the markets everywhere), and yes largely available sea food (yum)!

These were snapshots of Harihareshwar and Diveaghar. Shrivardhan, i indulged in water sports so didn't bother about pictures (sowwie!)

At Diveaghar: wearing a swimsuit and a basic denim skirt!
